The challenge we set out to solve
A first-edition event has no reputation to trade on and a hard, immovable date. Everything has to be credible from day one, and everything has to be ready before the doors open. The platform had to serve four groups at once — attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and media — each needing different information and a different action, while the programme itself kept changing right up to the event as speakers were confirmed. Working against a fixed date is a different discipline from working against a scope.
