A custom business management system built around the client's actual operations rather than an off-the-shelf product — now in live use, with a second version in progress based on real usage feedback.
The challenge we set out to solve
Off-the-shelf business software forces a choice: change how the company works to fit the tool, or bend the tool until it breaks. Trojan's operations did not map onto a generic product, and the workarounds — side spreadsheets, duplicate entry, processes living outside the system — were becoming the real system. The risk in going custom is equally known: a system built once and never revisited rots. The engagement had to be structured as a relationship, not a delivery.
